Young Adult Therapy

Counseling for Young Adults 18-24

Getting help from a therapist shouldn't be hard.

Work with me – I’m a licensed therapist, ready to help young adults in the Philadelphia-area!

You thought life would feel easier by now.

You spent the better part of your teen years waiting to be an adult. And here you are! But it feels like nothing is really how you thought adulthood would be like.

You consider yourself pretty independent. By your twenties, you imagined you would be living on your own, have solid relationships and on your way to a job that fulfilled you.

You see your friends, acquaintances and - let’s be honest - the people you follow on social media looking happy, successful and like they have it all together while you’re feeling confused, stuck, and overwhelmed with your life.

You thought you'd have everything figured out by now.

But the thought of actually figuring it out freaks you out! And you're not even sure what you want to do with the rest of your life - so you just keep doing the same old thing. Yet, those feelings of self-doubt are getting louder and the anxiety and stress of it all is hitting you harder; and this quarter life crisis is starting to affect the relationships you’re in.

This isn't the path to self discovery that you thought it would be and you can't figure out why building healthy friendships and relationships is so hard!

You're tired of dealing with inauthenticity.

It's understandable to get annoyed with what you see on finsta and fakebook - because it all seems very disingenuous and inauthentic. But you feel more isolated now than you did in high school because you don't want to play the popularity contest game that you thought would be over by the tme you hit your 20s.

Here's the thing: there’s no road map to this part of your life, and trying to follow someone else’s usually doesn’t end well. But, it's OK. Take a deep breath because you don't have to navigate this by yourself. Together, we can explore who YOU are, how YOU want to live your life and what might be getting in your way so you can learn to love yourself and appreciate what you bring to healthy friendships and relationships.

If this sounds all too familiar, contact me for a free consultation to start your young adult therapy sessions.

Imagine:

  • Waking up and feeling excited by the way your life is going

  • Living authentically and building close relationships
