Women’s Counseling
Looking for women’s counseling in the Philadelphia area? You found it!
Being a modern woman is hard, especially if you’re also a mom!
You are the pulse of your family. You make sure everyone has snacks, coordinate the activities, plan the play dates, pick up the birthday presents… the list goes on and on.
There are moments you really LOVE being a mom. When you have the space to really think, you marvel at what you have created. But lately it’s been hard to catch your breath, let alone enjoy what you have worked so hard to create.
To those on the outside you look like you’re just getting it all done but just beneath the surface you are ready to boil over at the slightest inconvenience… in fact, you do sometimes... and it feels awful.

You have a constant ticker...
Many tickers in fact, going through your head at any given moment. Constantly streaming everything that needs to be done to keep your family running smoothly. Maybe you are asking yourself if feeling overwhelmed as a mom and a wife is just part of the gig?
But something inside of you is telling you, “No, I believe I can feel like a great mom without feeling like I’m giving up all of myself.” You desperately want to be a good mom, a good partner and good caretaker and you work so hard to be those things.
At the end of the day you have nothing left for you. And to make matters worse, when you lay your head down at night, despite your best efforts, you still recount all the ways you screwed up that day.

If these challenges sound all too familiar, contact me for a free consultation for women’s counseling.

Imagine:
- Feeling like a good enough mom, no longer feeling overwhelmed as a mom and a wife.
- Laying your head down on your pillow at night feeling like you more than survived the day.
- Feeling you did right by your family AND by yourself.

You can be a great parent while also tending to your own needs, in fact, I would argue that it is a necessity.
In our work together, as part of women’s counseling, we will explore the messages you’ve received that being a good mom means sacrificing YOUrself and working to overcome the blocks that keep you from making the changes you and your family need.
